Number and Name are default parameters

Figure 2 Note, that if IFC (3D view activated) export only elements visible in view is checked, the option export rooms, areas and spaces in 3D views should be also checked on.

Remarks:

  • Revit Number is automatic mapped to Ifc as property Name
  • Revit Name is automatic mapped to Ifc as property LongName
  • Note: Revit exports the parameters also to Identity Data if Export Revit property sets is selected by IFC export settings.
  • By using the parameters IfcName and IfcLongName you can override the values, see next figures.
Figure 4 Adding shared parameter (IfcLongName, IfcName) to categories Rooms into the project.

Note: Revit exports the (original) Name also to Identity Data if Export Revit property sets is selected by IFC export settings.
